Courses in Traditional Chinese Medicine

The Faculty of Science offers an undergraduate course in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) over a four-year period, resulting in the award of Bachelor of Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine. This will qualify you to practice Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture and associated modalities such as moxibustion and cupping, and Tui Na (Chinese Massage). UTS also offers a double degree program with International Studies. Students may choose this option during the second year of their studies and academically selected students enter this program at the beginning of their third year. The combined Bachelor of Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Bachelor of Arts in International Studies program extends the course length to six years. You will study Chinese language and culture, and will complete one year in China studying language, culture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Click here for the combined degree course information.
