Chemical Technologies research facility

The research faciliy in Chemical Technologies pulls together the resources of several well equipped laboratories specialising in chemistry and materials science.

The facility is particularly focused on chemical and biochemical analysis, and materials technology, and is set up to serve the needs of Australian industry and academia in these areas.

Specialties of the facility include the physical and mechanical characterization of engineering materials, and the chemical and physical characterisation of forensic and pharmaceutical samples.

The facility is equipped to produce and characterise a diverse range of organic and inorganic materials, and is backed by a team of over 20 experienced researchers.
