Mission and vision

The School of Chemistry and Forensic Science’s mission is to produce work-ready graduates at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels who have sound groundings and up-to-date theoretical learning coupled with the ability to apply learning creatively in the professional world of applied science.

The School regularly consult with employers and industry. At UTS, we know what employers want from our graduates. We regularly review courses through industry advisory committees to ensure learning is both industry-relevant and has the right balance of theory and practice.

We ensure this by providing students and researchers with access to state-of-the art, world-class analytical facilities required for learning and research, and are taught and supervised by practising world-recognised experts.
