Courses designed and taught by MMB are highly regarded and respected by medical, biomedical, biotechnological and forensic biology professionals. MMB Undergraduate, Combined, Honours, Postgraduate Coursework and Research Degrees are detailed below, or go UTS:Science Handbook 2006:

Undergraduate: Student can also study MMB options in the Bachelor of Science: major study areas are available for medical science, biomedical science and biotechnology subject strands.

Combined Degree: In addition to the popular combination degrees with Science, UTS students also have the option of combining one of either Bachelor of Medical Science or Bachelor of Biotechnology specialist degrees with the following degrees from other Faculties:

Honours

Diploma of Scientific Practice is designed to equip graduates with the practical, workplace skills, mature understanding of the workplace environment, and an appreciation of the nature and demands of their field during their studies. CMB students enrolled in Medical Science, Biotechnology or Science degree programs are encouraged to apply for entry into the combined Diploma of Scientific Practice following completion of 48 credit points. The course involves 30 weeks of Industrial Training and completion of two subjects (each 6 credit points) and can be taken in 2nd or 3rd Year of FT study, subject to approval of Course Directors. Entry into the program is competitive as places are limited.
