Bridging courses

UTS: Science's Bridging courses are short intensive courses designed for students who are uncomfortable with their preparation for university study, or they may not meet the assumed knowledge requirements.

Bridging courses only teach to an introductory level and may assist in narrowing the gap between high school and university studies. Subjects taught in Bridging courses do not carry any credit-point towards your degree.

Who should attend?

Students entering tertiary study without the recommended knowledge in a particular area should consider doing a bridging course. This may include students enrolling in courses such as engineering, business, nursing, architecture, traditional chinese medicine and information technology.

These courses are available to all students, including students not intending to study at UTS.

Where are they taught?

All Bridging courses will be held at UTS City Campus (Broadway), except for Mathematics for education students, which is run at UTS Kuring-Gai Campus. More details will be provided once you have enrolled.
