Mathematics bridging for nursing and midwifery students
UTS Mathematics Bridging Courses are aim to develop mathematical skills for tertiary study and to help students to become familiar with the academic language of mathematics.
This bridging course is for students currently studying or planning to study nursing and midwifery.
Who Should Attend?
You are likely to benefit from these courses if:
- you are a school leaver and have just completed Year 12 studies and have not completed the recommended level of mathematics
- you are a mature-age or returning student following an extended period of absence
- you are planning to pursue any University course which includes some mathematics.
When, Where and Cost?
This course covers an introduction to the metric system, basic algebra and drug calculations.
Date: Monday, 20 February to Thursday - 23 February 2011.
Time: 6.00pm to 9.00pm.
Venue: UTS City Campus, level 16, building 1.
Fees: Free to UTS-enrolled students; $200 for non-UTS enrolled students
Seats available: 25 students for each session.

Registration Prior to the start of your Bridging courses
We need to complete your registration by marking off your attendance prior to the start of your first class. Please arrive 5.30pm Monday 21st February to level 16, building 1, UTS City Campus.
