I am a marine biologist passionately interested in the sustainability of coastal and estuarine biodiversity. My dynamic research team, the UTS Coastal Ecology Lab, studies a range of crucial aquatic habitats, including seagrass, sediments, reefs and mangroves. We use an integrated approach of rigorous experimentation and sophisticated statistical techniques to test hypotheses about how human activities in the coastal zone influence coastal processes and fisheries resources.
