Expected Work Submission (EWS) Date

This is the date by which you are expected to submit your thesis for examination. The EWS date falls at the end of the EFTSU period. This date will change subject to any periods of leave taken. For information on EWS dates contact the Faculty Research Office.

Frequently asked questions about EWS dates:

1. How can I find out what my EWS date is?
   The EWS date is listed on the front cover of the progress report sent each semester.
    
2. I enrolled in March but the EWS date shows that it expires in January rather than March.
   The whole semester is “rounded off” rather than using portions of a semester.
    
3. My EWS date is NOT the same as my scholarship expiry date.
   The two dates are not always linked to end at the same time.
