An honours degree is the first step towards a career in research. It’s an opportunity to draw together previous science and mathematics studies, and focus your knowledge, skills and intellect on an exciting piece of original research.
It’s a unique opportunity for students to explore their research potential by designing an independent project and producing a thesis of their work. Honours in UTS Science is a highly regarded additional year of undergraduate study available to students who have recently completed their Bachelor’s degree.

Honours Info Sessions
Honours info sessions are held throughout the year by the five Schools. You’ll be able to talk to the Schools’ Honours Coordinators and academics, about projects on offer, admission requirements, how to apply and career pathways.
