Dimensions and structure
The School of Medical and Molecular Biosciences encompasses a broad range of disciplines including biochemistry, microbiology, physiology, anatomy, haematology, immunology, molecular biology, pharmacology, biotechnology, bionanotechnology and traditional Chinese medicine that are essential to the teaching of its undergraduate Bachelor degree programs and research-based Honours degree programs. PhD and Masters by research programs are generally available in all these disciplines.
We have an outstanding research profile, operating in conjunction with the ithree institute, the Centre for Health Technologies (CHT) and the Centre for Forensic Science (CFS) and attract funding from a wide range of competitive grant bodies including the Australian Research Council (ARC), National Health and Medical Research Council (NH&MRC).
