Advice and Expertise
Aside from providing the core shared equipment, we offer advice and help in maintenance of group specific equipment that contribute to the floor’s group specific facilities. However, it is expected that the actual repairs and maintenance cost for researchers cover group specific equipment. For information on who to ask, see the "Information for Laboratory Users" page
Booking equipment and Facilities
Many of the facilities and equipment in the level 6 laboratories need to be booked and or logged for use. Booking for many of our facilities is done through our online booking system, please check local signage. The online booking system allows users to log in remotely and check for availability. It also allows us to monitor usage and predict future demand. Use of the online booking system is compulsory for items labelled as such. http://scieqpbook.science.uts.edu.au/scibems/Login To gain access to the online booking system for level 6 facilities, contact Philip Lawrence, June Treerat or Yean Wang.
