Industry connection

UTS Traditional Chinese Medicine, via the School of Medical and Molecular Biosciences has a number of close collaborative links with industry and the community.

The UTS Bachelor of Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine program is accredited by a number of professional associations including the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA), the Australian College of Acupuncturists (ACAC), the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA), amongst others.

UTS Traditional Chinese Medicine has a number of memorandum of understandings with international institutions including the Sino Japanese Friendship Hospital in Beijing, Dong Eui University in South Korea, and the Korean Institute of Oriental Medicine (KIOM) in Daejeon, South Korea. Staff members are also actively involved in Chinese medicine collaboration where recipients receive grants from the National Institutes of Complimentary Medicine.

UTS Traditional Chinese Medicine also has good relationships with local industries specialising in this area of expertise, which include Helio Supply Company, Healthworld Pty Ltd, Tong De Tang Australia Pty Ltd, Tong Ren Tang and many more.
